Learning Academies

A Learning Academy is a framework for pulling together all aspects of people development and training into a joined up process. It also enables the organisation to position the whole people development and training area as a much more integrated and value adding entity.

When training (including classroom based, e-learning, blended etc.) is effectively linked and integrated with other development activities such as competencies, performance management, best practice, coaching, (and internal coaches) proposals, projects, presentations, books and general business resources you create a very compelling and powerful momentum for people/business development.

Predaptive have developed an effective process that shows how to classify, organise, manage, retrieve and use these materials in ways that not only increases their business impact but also feeds into the organisation’s own learning development.  An early part of the Learning Academy process is to align this extensive resource with an organisation’s vision, strategy and corporate goals, again something our framework provides a method for doing.

The other exciting element of the Learning Academy is to link these resources through a dedicated part of the organisation’s intranet, providing a flexible and scalable repository that everybody can access and use in ways that suits them. We also can construct a purpose built extranet hosted on our server if the organisation doesn’t have an internal capability.

Ask Yourself

We need to find out more about Learning Academies and how they can increase competitive advantage. Who has direct experience and expertise in this area?

Why do Learning Academies successfully engage decision makers, opinion formers and potential coaches more effectively than other people development strategies?

How can we pull all our training and people development within one coherent framework, increasing its effectiveness and impact?

We’ve got stacks of learning collateral and training courses, but it’s all event based and transactional in feel. How can Learning Academies help?

We want to build a Learning Academy. How do we decide, and where do we start?

We want to build an on-line resource that acts as a catalyst for embedding organisational learning. How do we combine the framework with the technical requirements?
